Image size settings
Adding images automatically is an awesome feature. The only issue is that the image size can't be selected or predefined, and most images appear as duplicates in the same article or the image size is to small in the article. It would be nice to set up a standard, like no duplicates in the same article, and all image sizes should be the same, like for ex. 1200 x 900 pixels.

For AI images, we can definitely do this, however for the other images, we'll need to resort to either resizing or cropping. Won't work for google images, for stock photos it might work (but not ideal).
Would you guys be willing to have this on AI images?

We've released this, now you can select the image size for all providers.

For Google and Stocks images is still a lot of duplicates and non-relevant on Article Features images.
Also for some articles aprox 1 from 10 Features Image is missing.
Will be nice to check is stock image is already used before inserting.

Victor Margina: It's really hard to do huge bulk generation with featured and in-article images and not have them repeated (specially when the topic is very similar). I recommend you try the AI images.

As an option - can be added possibility to connect an personal account of photo or file sharing? Google drive for example? And use random images or image with similar keyword in name from selected folder as Features Image for post.

Afonso Matos: I just tried this new image generation option today. The only positive I noticed is that this option uploads images for every article that you post. The other options sometimes skip to post featured images in some articles all together.
I still see that it repeats images, the in article images are thumbnail size, and with this option, the images are in some niches irrelevant. The previous image generation options are most of the time on the subject.
I tried to tweak the media settings in Wordpress, but it didn't help. It seems that it's set to download the lowest resolution version of the image from the source, if that makes any sense. Maybe you can set it up to download for everyone a universal image size, like 1200x800 for example.

We've recently worked on the images, so you should be seeing less duplicates, is this still something you're facing?
Regarding the image size, have you tried using a Wordpress plugin to standardise the image sizes? We can work on that, but since users have so many different plugins and setups, I'm afraid it can work differently for each user.

Afonso Matos: Hey Afonso, I've checked yesterday's posts on a website (https://smartparentingpod.com/), and the problem still persists. Some posts have the same featured images, some posts don't have featured images at all, some have the same duplicate images in the posts as well. Regarding the image sizes, I have got in the Wordpress media settings everything set up and in Smush as well. Is there a better way to standardise the image sizes? Thanks

Alpi: Just wondering if this plugin actually worked for your use case? I don't want to bloat Journalist's dashboard, so if this works, then we don't need to force it.
