This is already done if you're using the Keyword Mode.

We'll be seeing how to do this.

I usually use a plugin like RankMath for this. You can set up a lot of stuff with it. What I am struggling with at the moment are the title slugs, because I have to enter each article manually and edit/shorten them. Currently if you have a title like "15 Best Cat Shaving Methods", the slug will be the same as the title, but if you edit later on the blog post and decide to change it to "20 Best Cat Shaving Methods", the old slug will still says 15, what is obviously bad for SEO. Ideally the best solution would be an option in the "preset" section where you could add a predefined title, meta title, description and slug for each article as an extra option for people who like to go that extra mile.

Alpi: Hey Alpi, I don't understand one thing. You're saying that the slug doesn't update when you edit the post, but wouldn't that still happen if you specified the slug on the preset?

Afonso Matos: What I mean is if you hit publish without editing, the title will become the slug automatically. I'll attach an example of how I wanted to be. In the example below I already edited the slug and instead of the whole title, I only put in the main keyword. Even if in future edits I decide to add 11 more designs and make it 100, the slug will be still relevant because it only refers to the main keyword. Hope that makes sense.

Actually, this should be an essential basic function. Because Wordpress only literally copies the title and the first lines of text for the meta description. But those are always too long as a result. A good title and meta description will increase your CTR

Doesn't wordpress pick the title of the article to generate a meta title?

Afonso Matos: It will if you leave it empty or use the %title% variable.

Afonso Matos: These are unfortunately not very good and sometimes too short or too long. A good title and meta description will make your articles rank better by increasing CTR, resulting in more clicks => customers.
A good title and meta description uses the maximum number of characters and serves as a concise but informative summary that highlights the value of the content to the reader. And would be nice if it always ends with a Call-To-Action to take the user to the website.
For example, see how this title and meta descriptions were created in ChatGPT for keyword "Auto blogging
