Zapier
Watch our step by step video on how to integrate Arvow with Zapier:
What is Zapier?
Zapier is a no-code automation tool that enables you to create automated workflows without any programming skills. It offers extensive app support by connecting with over 7,000 apps, including popular website builders and CMS platforms, and serves as a seamless integration bridge between Arvow and your website to instantly publish new articles.
How It Works
When you publish an article using Arvow, Zapier receives the article data via an API integration and automatically sends it to your connected website builder. This process helps ensure that your content is published without manual intervention.
Setting Up the Zapier Integration
Creating a Zapier integration in Arvow
- Navigate to the integrations section and click on Create Integration.
- Select Zapier as your integration option.
- Name your integration and click Create to generate an API key.
Requesting Access in Zapier
- If you don’t have a Zapier account, sign up for one (it’s free).
- Once logged in, click Request Access to Zapier within the Arvow dashboard.
- Accept the invitation to use Arvow on Zapier.
Creating a New Zap
- Click the Create Zap button in Zapier.
- Search for Journalist AI 2.0.1 as your app.
- Select the New Article trigger event. (This will activate whenever a new article is sent from Arvow).
- Connect your Arvow account** by pasting the API key obtained earlier**.
- Test the trigger to ensure that Arvow is correctly sending article data.
Setting Up the Action Event
- Choose your website builder or CMS as the action app (e.g., Duda, Magento, etc.).
- Select an appropriate action event (such as Create Blog Post) that matches how you want your article to be published.
- Connect your website builder account by signing in and granting the required permissions.
- Configure any additional settings (like mapping article fields to your website fields).
Publishing and Activating Your Zap
- Review your Zap configuration.
- Click Publish to activate the automation.
- From now on, every new article from Arvow will be automatically published on your chosen website platform.
Additional Tips
- Always test your Zap to ensure that data is transferred correctly between Arvow and your website builder.
- Depending on your website builder, you may need to customize field mappings (e.g., title, meta description, content) to match your site’s format.
- If the trigger test fails, double-check your API key and ensure that your Arvow account is properly connected.
