Watch our step by step video on how to integrate GoHighLevel with Arvow:

Overview

The GoHighLevel integration lets Arvow publish articles directly to your GoHighLevel blog. Once connected, articles you create in Arvow are sent straight to your GoHighLevel website - published immediately or saved as drafts for you to review first.

To set it up, you'll need two things from GoHighLevel:

  • Your Private Integration Token: a unique code that lets Arvow connect securely to your GoHighLevel account.

  • Your Location ID: the unique ID that GoHighLevel gives to your account.

Before You Start: Set Up Your Blog in GoHighLevel

⚠️ Arvow needs an active blog in your GoHighLevel account. Make sure it exists before connecting the integration.

Creating a Blog

  1. In GoHighLevel, open the sidebar and select Sites.

  2. Go to Blogs.

  3. If you don't have a blog yet, click Create.

  4. Give your blog a name.

  5. Connect your domain (you can do this now or later).

  6. Create your blog.

Creating an Author

  1. In the Blogs area, click the settings icon.

  2. Create a new author.

  3. Give it a name and a description.

  4. Create your author.

Creating a Category

  1. In the same settings area, create a new category.

  2. Give it a name.

  3. Give it a slug.

  4. Create your category.

Setting Up the GoHighLevel Integration

  1. In Arvow, go to the Integrations tab.

  2. Click Create Integration.

  3. Select GoHighLevel.

  4. Give your integration a name.

  5. You'll now see two fields to fill in: the Private Integration Token and the Location ID.

Getting Your Private Integration Token

  1. Go back to GoHighLevel and click Settings.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the menu until you see the Private Integrations tab, and click it.

  3. Click Create new integration.

  4. Give it a name (e.g., Arvow) so you know what it's for.

  5. Click Next.

  6. You'll now choose the permissions - these control what Arvow is allowed to do in your account. Search for blogs and enable these four:

    • Create Blog Posts

    • View Blog Categories

    • View Blog Authors

    • View Blog List

  7. Click Create.

  8. GoHighLevel will show you your token. Copy it and paste it into the Private Integration Token field in Arvow.

⚠️ All four permissions are needed for the integration to work properly.

Getting Your Location ID

  1. In GoHighLevel, open Settings.

  2. Select Business Profile β€” it's the first option.

  3. You'll find your Location ID right there.

  4. Copy it and paste it into Arvow.

πŸ‘ Arvow will now fetch your blog information from GoHighLevel. This may take a few moments.

Selecting Your Blog, Author, and Category

Once Arvow has fetched your GoHighLevel information:

  1. Select the Blog where your articles should be published.

  2. Select the Author.

  3. Select the Category for your articles.

Choosing How Articles Are Published

  • Publish immediately: keep the toggle enabled, and articles go live on your GoHighLevel website as soon as they're sent.

  • Send as drafts: disable the toggle, and articles arrive in GoHighLevel as drafts so you can review them before publishing.

When you're done, click Create.

πŸ‘ Your integration is now ready, and Arvow can start publishing articles directly to your GoHighLevel website.

FAQs

Q: Why isn't Arvow finding my blog, author, or categories? These need to exist in GoHighLevel before you set up the integration. Go to Sites β†’ Blogs in GoHighLevel and make sure you have an active blog with at least one author and one category created.

Q: Can I review articles before they appear on my website? Yes. When setting up the integration, disable the immediate publishing toggle. Articles will then be sent to GoHighLevel as drafts, and you can publish them manually whenever you're ready.

Q: Where do I find my Location ID? In GoHighLevel, go to Settings β†’ Business Profile. Your Location ID is listed there β€” just copy and paste it into Arvow.
