Overview
Chat is an in-dashboard assistant for the current project. Ask about SEO, Google Search Console, AutoBlog, backlinks, and publishing in plain language — without leaving the dashboard.
It uses the same Arvow MCP tools that ChatGPT and Claude get when they connect to your organization MCP server. In-app chat and “use Arvow from AI tools” are one product.
📘 On your first visit you’ll see a short New spotlight introducing Chat. Click Got it to dismiss it.
How to open Chat
Open a project in Arvow (Chat is scoped to the project you’re in).
In the left sidebar, select Chat (next to Browse).
On What can I help with?, type in Ask about this project, or pick a starter card:
SEO research — domain metrics, ranking keywords, and competitors
Search Console — top queries from the last 28 days
AutoBlog — scheduled and unscheduled articles
Backlinks — latest links and anything to follow up
Press Enter or Send (Shift+Enter for a new line). Messages can be up to 4000 characters.
👍 You don’t need an API key to use Chat inside Arvow. Connecting ChatGPT or Claude is optional — see below.
Managing conversations
Continue in the same thread, or click New chat.
History is grouped under Today, Yesterday, Previous 7 days, and Older.
On a conversation row, open Chat actions to Rename or Delete.
Available tools opens the public tool catalog. Tooltip: SEO, Search Console, AutoBlog, and more.
What you can ask
SEO & research
Keyword metrics (volume, difficulty, CPC, intent)
Keyword ideas, related terms, and suggestions
Live search results, competitors, and keyword gaps
Domain overview and ranking keywords
Backlink overview for a domain
AutoBlog
See scheduled and unscheduled articles
Schedule, reschedule, or cancel one-off AutoBlog items
Create article batches when you explicitly ask
⚠️ Chat manages one-off AutoBlog calendar items. Recurring automations are still set up in AutoBlog itself.
Google Search Console (if connected to the project)
Connection status, top queries, clicks, impressions, CTR, and position
Inspect a URL or list sitemaps (read-only — Chat does not submit URLs for indexing)
Backlinks & publishing
List received / Automatic Backlinks
Suggest internal links for article text (uses credits)
Publish to a connected CMS when you clearly ask (WordPress, Shopify, Ghost, Webflow, Wix, Blogger, Framer, GoHighLevel, Zapier, webhooks, and others)
📘 Chatting itself is free. Some tools spend credits — SEO research is typically 1–3 credits per lookup, internal-link analysis is 10 credits, and creating articles uses the usual article credits (for example, 15 for a standard article).
Example prompts
“Give me an SEO overview of this project's website: domain metrics, top ranking keywords, and main competitors.”
“Check Search Console for this project and summarize the top queries from the last 28 days.”
“Show my AutoBlog schedule and anything that still needs to be scheduled.”
“List the latest backlinks this project has received and call out anything I should follow up on.”
Connect ChatGPT or Claude (optional)
From the Chat sidebar footer, click Connect ChatGPT/Claude to open your organization MCP page. From there you can connect the same tools outside the dashboard.
Open Chat in your project.
Click Connect ChatGPT/Claude.
Or go to Organization → MCP (under Developer), copy your MCP URL and API key, and add Arvow as a connector in your AI tool.

FAQs
Q: Is Chat different from the AI Assistant in the article editor?
Yes. The AI Assistant edits a single article inside the SEO Editor. Project Chat can research, manage AutoBlog one-offs, check Search Console, review backlinks, and publish across the project.
Q: Do I need a special plan?
You can open Chat in any project. Connecting ChatGPT/Claude via the organization MCP server (and using the public API) unlocks on Solo, Business, and Ultimate. Only the organization owner can manage the shared API key.
Q: Why can’t Chat see my Search Console data?
Connect Google Search Console to the project first. Chat can only use data Arvow already has access to.
Q: Can Chat publish to my website?
Yes, when you clearly ask and a destination is already connected. Publishing from Chat uses the same publication history as the dashboard.
Q: Where do I set up ChatGPT or Claude?
Use Connect ChatGPT/Claude in the Chat sidebar, or follow the MCP Server guide.
