Watch our step by step video on how to set up article templates:
Overview
Article templates control how your articles are written β language, tone, structure, images, links, and more. Arvow includes four default templates, and you can create as many additional templates as you need for different types of content.
Accessing Your Templates
Go to the AutoBlog tab.
Open the Templates tab.
You'll see the four default templates that come with every project.
The Default Templates
SEO Article Template
The most fully featured template. You can customize:
Language
Tone of voice
Custom instructions
Structure
Formatting
Links
Images
Videos
Auto-translate
News Article Template
Built for news-style content. You can customize:
Language
Featured image (on or off)
Auto-translate
YouTube to Blog Post Template
Turns YouTube videos into blog posts. You can customize:
Language
Custom instructions
Images
Auto-translate
Click Save Template when you're done editing any template.
Creating a New Template
You're not limited to the defaults β you can create additional templates with different settings.
Click New Template.
Give it a name (for example, SEO Article 2).
Customize the settings the same way you would a default template.
Save the template.
π This is useful when you want two versions of the same template type β for example, one SEO template in English and another in Portuguese, or one with images and one without.
π Need something more custom than the built-in options? Custom Article Templates let you define your own prompt and structure from scratch. See How to Create a Custom Article Template.
Using Your Templates
Once a template is created, it's available whenever you generate an article. When you add a new article, Arvow asks which template to use β just select the one you want and continue generating as normal.
FAQs
Q: How many templates can I create?
You can create as many as you need for different content types, languages, or clients.
Q: Do my template changes apply to articles I've already generated?
No. Templates apply at generation time, so changes affect articles generated afterwards.
Q: What's the difference between these templates and Custom Article Templates?
The templates here are built-in formats with settings you toggle and adjust. Custom Article Templates let you write your own generation prompt and Markdown outline from scratch. See How to Create a Custom Article Template.
