Watch our step by step video on how to set up the URL Indexer:
Overview
The URL Indexer automatically crawls your website, submits your pages to Google for indexing, and tracks their indexation status, so you can make sure your content is actually getting found in search.
Setting Up the URL Indexer
Go to the General Settings.
Click Connect to link your Arvow account with Google Search Console.
Sign in to your Google account in the authorization panel that opens.
Select which Google Search Console project you want to connect.
Click Confirm to confirm the property.
π That's it! Once connected, Arvow will automatically crawl your site every hour and submit any new URLs to Google for indexing.
Submitting URLs Manually
You don't have to wait for the hourly crawl. You can also:
Submit URLs manually: paste the URLs you want indexed into the manual submission field.
Re-crawl your site: click the Re-crawl button to trigger a crawl on demand instead of waiting for the next automatic one.
Tracking Indexation
Within a few minutes, your pages will appear in the dashboard, where you can see:
The list of crawled pages
Each page's indexation status
The date each page was indexed
π If you've just set things up, give it a few minutes for the first results to show up.
FAQs
Q: How often does Arvow crawl my site? Automatically every hour. You can also trigger a crawl yourself anytime with the Re-crawl button.
Q: Do I need Google Search Console to use this? Yes. The URL Indexer works by connecting to your Google Search Console account, so you'll need one set up for your website first.
Q: Can I submit a specific page right away? Yes, just paste the URL into the manual submission field and it'll be sent to Google for indexing without waiting for the hourly crawl.
Q: Why don't I see my pages yet? It can take a few minutes for pages and their indexation status to appear after a crawl. If nothing shows up after a while, try the Re-crawl button.
